Wearable art inspired by the magical beads in the storybook, "The Nalikae Tree," written by myself and illustrated by the artists listed below.
Each bead represents different facets of enlightenment: Luminous abundance, transcendence, space, and ground.
Wearables fashioned into bracelets, earrings, and rings served as rewards for sponsors on the crowdfunding platform Kickstarter.
The four magical beads in the book are now permanent sculptures on the island in front of the Buddhadasa Indapanno Archives. (Fiberglass, approx. 70cm in diameter each)
